WORM can be important when implementing data retention policies to be compliant with regulations regarding the storage of data on non-rewritable, non-erasable media. | Manageability: The MSL6000 Tape Library includes web-based management to allow monitoring and managing of the library from across the room or across the globe. Many of the functions that are available on the front panel are included in the remote management interface. These include, but are not limited to: library and drive status, moving media, load/unload tape drives, access to diagnostics, library configuration, library statistics, inventory check, and security settings.
